Upsilon Net

How did the Upsilon Net start?
In his own words "Upsilon Online is ...not about history ...but about opportunity" - Butch Bandong '73.

What are the activities in Upsilon Net ?
Brods and Sis share experiences, memories, information, technical knowhow, and creative abilities in Upsilon Net. The Upsilon Net is an extension of the fellowship that started way back when in Diliman and Los Banos. Many brods and sis in Upsilon Net have never met face to face but the fellowship is the same as if everyone had known each other for a long time.

What is the value of Upsilon Net ?
The tremendous speed of communications in Upsilon Net makes fast mobilizations possible. The fellowship is kewl. Generation gap and geographical barriers have been broken in Upsilon Net. Brods and sis gain expertise in this new technology, which may enhance professional development and personal satisfaction.  See also the Upsilon List FAQ

What is the relationship of the Upsilon Net to the USPAA or USPNA ?
The Upsilon Net is not an official arm of either the USPAA or the USPNA. There are no fees or charges for the Upsilon Net. Brods are free to visit the website, participate or unsubscribe at anytime. Its main goal are simple Fellowship and personal satisfaction.

There are no fees or charges for Upsilon Net.

If there are no fees or charges, who pays for the Upsilon Net ?
The Upsilon Net exists through volunteer hours and  individual contributions. For more information on where to send Upsilon Net contributions, please contact  Bobby Hocson '77.  See also the Upsilon Web Team  and  Sponsors .

What is the future for Upsilon Net ?

What is the Bulletin Board ?
Just like a regular bulletin board, messages and follow ups may be posted in the Bulletin Board. It is intended for messages to and from Upsilon Net and the "outside world". Brods and sis normally use the Upsilon-List for internal communication.

What are personal home pages ?
This is where the creativity of of each brod/sis is harnessed by Upsilon Net. Brothers are encouraged to create personal web pages to be linked to the Upsilon Web Site. The personal pages may contain information about individuals, their families, profession, or hobbies. Some personal pages are also a means of "service to the Frat" by hosting projects like "Songs of the Upsilon" and "Net Resource".
